Official band merchandise is one the most sacred medium for us to interact with our own role models in the music industry. As well as the people who are living in remote places. For example, they use stone carved artifacts, or they just pray and worship to a stone, and use them as their representative for their own gods. For us, the physical release and watching our favourite musician playing on stage is not enough if we don't have the most legit and official memorabilias from our beloved musicians.
Other than being a way of pleasing our own emotions, and expressing our feelings as a die-hard fan, those items of worship are also an important channel for a way to promote and distribute singles from bands and or musicians who are in our label, especially if the quotas of their songs for their EPs are not yet ready, then this medium becomes one of the most crucial acts they can and should do.
So, what are you waiting for? Lets collect these items of worship as much as we can, and fill in the altar with it as a dedication to our own gods across the globe so that we can sing it along with our own descendants.
Cheers!
